Detroit trailed all the way last night against Chicago with the Bulls beating the Pistons 99-to-83 at the Palace. The game featured the return of former Piston Richard Hamilton, who signed with the Bulls last month after 9 seasons in Detroit.
Hamilton finished with 14 points and 5 assists along with a warm response from the crowd during pre-game introductions. Carlos Boozer led five Chicago players in double-figures with 19 points. Derrick Rose added 17 points and 10 assists for the Bulls, who have won five games in-a-row after dropping their season opener.
The 2-anda-4 Pistons, who were trying for their third straight win, were paced by Greg Monroe, who had 19 points, 13 boards and five assists.
Tomorrow night, it’s Detroit at Philadelphia.
