AURORA, Wis (WSAU) One person is dead and four others were injured in a crash early Sunday morning in Waushara County. Police say a car left the road on County Highway XX in Aurora and came to rest in a corn field.

Police say there was evidence that a second car was involved in the crash. A short time later they found a pick-up truck that crashed into two trees and hit a large rock on the side of the road.

Both vehicles had left a house party earlier that night.

A passenger in the first car died at the scene. He's been identified as 17-year-old Devlin Klien. A driver and passenger from the car and a driver and passengers from the pick-up were injured.

Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash.

There was also a fatal crash on Sunday in Sauk County. Police say a car crossed the center-line in Fairfield Township and struck a pick-up truck.

The car's driver, 21-year-old Katherine Baxter of Baraboo, was ejected from her vehicle and was airlifted from the scene. She died later that day. The 73-year-old pick-up driver was treated at the scene and released.
