WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev discussed "new moment" in Russia's progress toward joining the World Trade Organization in a telephone conversation on Thursday, the White House said.
Obama affirmed his support for Russia's accession into the WTO this year.
The conversation addressed a wide range of issues including developments in the Middle East, including Libya, the White House said.
