Spring Primary Could Include Recall

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - If the city of Sheboygan needs a second election to decide the mayoral recall, it will be held in conjunction with the regular Spring Primary on February 21^st.  City Clerk Sue Richards said she received word today from the Government Accountability Board approving that scenario.  The recall primary is set for January 17^th and if no one gets a majority of the vote, the second election will be needed.  Richards said without the GAB approval, there would have been a run-off for mayor on February 14^th and then the regular election a week later.  She said this will save the city time and money, and be better for the voters.
