(St. Paul, MN) -- Another 23 members of the Minnesota National Guard's 133rd Airlift Wing are back home from a two-month deployment in Afghanistan. The airmen arrived in Saint Paul yesterday and are the third of four waves that left in July to fly support missions in C-130 Hercules aircraft. The 133rd transported nearly eleven-thousand passengers, delivered 25-hundred tons of cargo in Afghanistan and assisted with flood relief efforts in neighboring countries. National Guard officials say the fourth wave is expected to return to Minnesota in the next week.
