A tentative ageement has been reached between the nurses union and St. Lukes Hospital in Duluth. The pact came early this morning after a marathon negotiating session that began on Tuesday. The Minnesota Nurses Association is recommending that nurses ratify the agreement in a vote scheduled for Wednesday, September 8th. Union leaders also hope the agreement will prompt SMDC to resume negotiations with their nurses. Those talks broke down last week.
