The latest on the Minnesota state budget situation is due out on December 2nd, when the Minnesota Management and Budget Office releases the November economic forecast.  Back in July, the expected budget shortfall had grown about a hundred-million dollars but earlier this month, the state reported that tax collections were 46-million dollars ahead of projections.  Still, the state has been projecting a multi-billion-dollar budget shortfall in future years.
