Plover, Wi (WSAU) A Saturday night crash in Portage County has left one man dead and another in jail. 54 year old Douglas Kealiher of Almond was killed when a car pulled out in front of his motorcycle around 9pm at Hwys D & A in the Town of Lanark. A 33 year old Plover man has been arrested and will be charged with homicide by drunken driving. The Portage County Sheriff's Dept would not release his name until he is formally charged which should happen today.
Kealiher was driving his cycle on Hwy A when the Plover man pulled out in front of hime from Hwy D. He was taken to Aspirus Wausau Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The investigation of this case is continuing.
