MIRANDA LAMBERT MAKES CMA AWARD HISTORY WITH NINE NOMINATIONS. Miranda Lambert leads the CMA Award nomination with nine total making her the most nominated female artist for a single award show in the CMA Award’s history. After learning of her nods, Miranda was utterly speechless. “Um, I don’t even have a word, they don’t even make a word for the way I feel. I’m gonna have to make one up and get back to you on that one. (laugh)” Miranda received her first Entertainer of the Year nomination which was the cherry on top of all her other nominations. “It’s just hard to believe, because it’s so many, and it’s so many big ones. I guess the most shocking was, obviously, Entertainer of the Year, because at first I didn’t really feel like it was time for me to get nominated for something like that.” The CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and air on ABC-TV Wednesday, November 10th from 8 to 11pm ET.

BLACK CROWES FRONT MAN SPEAKS POORLY ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT. The rock group Black Crowes front man Chris Robinson, has lashed out on Taylor Swift in the recent issue of Nylon Guys magazine. He said, “I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible.” He also mentioned he doesn’t listen to new music these days due to artists lack in talent. Chris went on to say, “They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same… When you have computers doing it all for you … there’s no individuality.” Though Chris may not think highly of Taylor, many of her fans are highly anticipating the release of her next album Speak Now on October 25th.
