This is a weird way to lose weight!

Researchers at the National Institute for Aging found that if you FAST every other day, it's great for your heart, your brain, and your body.  On the days where you fast, you actually CAN eat a little . . . only between zero and 500 calories . . .

 That sounds awful.  BUT there's another twist.  In tests, the people who were fasting every other day could eat pretty much ANYTHING THEY WANTED on their eating days.  And they still lost weight.

 The scientists say this all comes down to insulin production.  After high-carb, high-sugar food, your body produces extra insulin.  That's bad for your heart, it causes weight gain, and actually reduces your brain function.

I LOVE this idea!

SIMON COWELL recently proposed a "super final," where the winners of "American Idol", "The Voice" and "X Factor" would face-off to determine the best singer.

 Well, JAVIER COLON . . . the winner of the first season of "The Voice" . . . is interested.  He Tweeted, quote, "I respect the other winners a lot but if you want a battle, I'm IN!"

 In another Tweet directed at "Idol" producer NIGEL LYTHGOE, Javier added, quote, "As you know, Simon proposed an 'Idol' / 'X Factor' / 'Voice' face off.  Just letting you know that I'm down!  It's on you, sir."

 Nigel hasn't responded, but over the weekend he poked fun at the idea . . . saying, quote, "The problem is the 'Idol' winner will be a star by then."

If it were to happen it would be, The Voice's Javier Colon vs Idol's Scotty Mccreery vs X- Factor"s Melanie Amaro. My vote goes to Javier, But I think it would be close with Scotty Mccreery!

Yesterday was a big day for Minnesota Hockey. It was Hockey day America and the feature game for the day was Our Minnesota Wild against the defending Stanley Cup Champs the Boston Bruins.

Our Star goalie Niklas Backstrom was amazing and had a 48 save shutout! This was the best one!

This is my nightmare!!!!
