COUNTRY STARS LAND ON FORBES 2010 CELEBRITY POWER LIST. Though Oprah may lead Forbes 2010 Celebrity Power List, country’s biggest stars have managed to make their way on the chart. Taylor Swift clinches the #12 spot, while Kenny Chesney takes the #54 spot, followed by Rascal Flatts at #62. Toby Keith landed at the #67 slot, and Keith Urban placed at #76. Forbes' ranking is a measurement of entertainment-related earnings over the past 12 months, as well as exposure in print, television, radio, online, and social media. And it’s been a really wonderful ride. Jimmy Buffett & Friends Concert in Gulf Shores Rescheduled for July 11th. The Jimmy Buffett & Friends concert scheduled for Thursday in Gulf Shores, Alabama, has been rescheduled for July 11th because of concerns about surf conditions on the beach. Buffett said, “Nobody hates this more than I do, but I guess, as the song says, it’s hard to reason with hurricane season. For those going anyway, thank you. ... For the rest of you, we will see you July 11." A portion of the July 1st concert was to be telecast live on CMT and CMT.com as a 90-minute special titled CMT Presents Jimmy Buffett & Friends Live From the Gulf Coast. Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown, Allen Toussaint, Sonny Landreth and Jesse Winchester were among the confirmed guests. BRAD PAISLEY ISN’T FULL OF HOT AIR! Brad Paisley loves water which is why he wrote his current song called “Water,” and also named his current tour the H20 World Tour. Brad and his family have a huge farm outside of Nashville but it doesn’t have a pool. But with two young boys Brad had to find something for them to splash in this summer but he was smart not to pick one that required a lot of air! “Our pool is one of those plastic ones that doesn’t have to be blown up. We don’t have actually a full size swimming pool. We have a little plastic pool, you set it out and fill it up. I made sure I didn’t get the inflatable kind. Because I don’t want to have to do that. But yeah, blowing up the slippin’ slide…there’s areas of the slippin’ slide that are padded that you have to blow up. You know, you forgot how hard that is to do. So I cheated and took it down to the barn and used the air compressor.”

Not only do I drink a lot of it, but I love to go swimming. My favorite time of the year is summer. I love the beaches. I love hot weather. I’m not a fan of snow. Not a fan of cold weather at all. I’d much rather be on the beach, in the ocean, or in a pool than anywhere. So that would be ideal. Wouldn’t it be so cool to just live on a beach somewhere and have no care in the world—all you gotta do is tan and swim.” Kellie told CMT Radio Live’s Cody Alan last week she likes the idea of an outdoor wedding but she’d be afraid of weather ruining the big day.
